Time is your enemy or is it space?
There's no need to rush. It's not a race!
I question my position
What is the direction?
A lifetime of happiness is never guaranteed.
Tarry a while and cut your speed.
You say you want this more than anything else,
But it seems you're just saving self.
I've been waiting for feelings to be returned,
I guess I just have to wait my turn.
Unrequited emotions are my enemies,
I need a reason by any means.
Seems you're the one who is unsure,
Or maybe you are simply insecure.
